All tours will depart from the Corpus Clock, unless otherwise arranged. This is a large golden clock on the corner of King’s Parade and St Benet’s. It is diagonally opposite King’s Chapel and next to The Chop House restaurant.
Coming by car: Cambridge is a medieval town with Twenty-First Century traffic. We recommend that you make use of the Park & Ride facilities, which are found on every main road into the city. The buses from these car parks will take you directly into town (see coming by public bus below).
Alternately you can park at the Grand Arcade, a multi-story in the centre of the City. This is well sign posted, and the electronic boards around town will let you know how many spaces are left. Once parked, go into the shopping centre and take the Petty Curry exit. Turn left onto the market square, then take the second left and go to St Benet’s St. (going behind the Guildhall). You should then be on St Benet’s St. Walk down past the Eagle pub, to the meeting point at the Corpus Clock.
Coming by train: The station is around 1 mile from the city centre. From the train station either take a taxi into town (the cheaper option if there are more than 2 in your group) or take the bus. This departs from opposite the main entrance.
Coming by private coach: Coaches usually stop on the corner of Queen’s Road and Silver Street on the river side of the road (alongside the park) For large groups we can arrange for our guides to meet you here. We can put you in touch with local coach companies if you require transport.
Coming by public bus: Get off at the St Andrew’s St bus stop, and walk around the corner past John Lewis department store (dark green). You should now be walking along Downing Street. Take the first right after you pass the Crowne-Plaza Hotel and walk along Corn Exchange Street. Turn left along St Benet’s, going past Jamie’s Italian and go to the Corpus Clock at the end of the road.
