The Walk of Fame - a Unique Cambridge Walking Tour
Walk of Fame
In a single tour, find out what makes Cambridge so famous. The invention of the computer. The discovery of DNA. The origins of Pink Floyd. Whatever your interests, there is something for you on the Walk of Fame. Public tours depart from the Corpus Christi Clock every day during the main tourist season* taking in as much of the town as possible in 90 minutes.
Full of history
Our team of student guides are trained to the highest standard and have exceptionally good knowledge of the town. The historic importance of Cambridge and its plethora of achievements in the sciences and the arts is outstanding; but we don’t just keep you stuck in the 15th century! Modern Cambridge is a vibrant and exciting place too, from its creative culture to its cutting edge science.
Led by current students
As your guide is living and studying here in Cambridge they will also be able to give you up to date information on museums, art galleries, tourist services and attractions you should visit, not to mention the best pubs, restaurants and shops available. Some of our guides could well be the next generation of great thinkers and politicians. They are passionate about showing off the city at its best, so that your experience here will enrich your visit and inspire you, as much as it has them!
Walk of Fame Tours can be booked by telehpone for Midday every Saturday and Sunday during the summer season June - August. The minimum booking fee is £24 which covers tickets for two people - just select tickets per person as required thereafter.
